Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) and the host Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH), saw Fairbanks's basketball squad hold off Urbana by a count of 57-54.
With the victory, Fairbanks upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Northeastern (Springfield, OH) to play the Jets in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Friday, December 10. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Northeastern lost 66-60 in their recent league challenge against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH)
Next up, the Hillclimbers play the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge, on Friday, December 10. Urbana will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 49-48 league win over Graham Local (St. Paris, OH).
