With the win, Academic Magnet upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Raptors host Hanahan (Hanahan, SC) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Hanahan lost 64-32 in their recent non-league bout against Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC)

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Palmetto Scholars Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 57-37 non-league win over John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC).
