The Worcester Prep Mallards tipped the visiting Chincoteague Ponies basketball team by a final score of 54-51 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mallards face the The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) in a Eastern Shore game, on Friday, December 9. Worcester Prep will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.

With the defeat, Chincoteague moves to 0-2 on the year. The Ponies host Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Friday, December 9. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 0-0.
