The Haverford School Fords (Haverford, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA), 58-54 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Fords (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA). The Griffin go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Academy at Palumbo was tipped by Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA), 46-37, in a league test.
The now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Moorestown Friends for a Friends Schools test on Wednesday, January 4.
