Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian tipped by Yorktown

The Yorktown Patriots basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Meridian Mustangs to 62 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Yorktown will meet a Cougars team coming off a 49-46 non-league loss to Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, North Stafford was nudged by Hylton (Woodbridge, VA), 52-46, in a non-league contest.
