With the victory, Northview improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Sailors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Sailors come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. South Christian won 73-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Holland Christian (Holland, MI)

Next up, the Lions play the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) in a Central State - Gold challenge, on Friday, December 9. Newaygo will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
