The Shaler Area Titans basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Perry Traditional Academy Commodores to 31 in the Titans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the victory, Shaler Area upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Titans travel to South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-0. South Fayette won 52-39 in their recent non-league bout against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA)

Next up, the Commodores play the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Perry Traditional Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 60-30 non-league win over Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA).
