The Polo Marcos basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting West Carroll Thunder to 38 in the Marcos non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Marcos now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stockton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Polo will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to Dakota (Dakota, IL). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-3.

The Thunder (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Ashton-Franklin Center was routed by Annawan (Annawan, IL), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
