North Carolina High School Basketball - Vance Charter crushes Research Triangle

December 7, 2022: Henderson, NC 27536

Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC), 65-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vance Charter upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Knights host Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A Conference 11 bout on Friday, December 9. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Henderson Collegiate won 79-37 in their recent non-league bout against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Raptors play the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Research Triangle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 50-29 non-league loss to Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC).
