California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon edged by Valhalla

The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team (Spring Valley, CA), was nudged 59-55 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA)

The Norsemen now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Imperial for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Valhalla will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Patrick Henry edged Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA), 64-30, in a non-league battle.
