California High School Basketball - Atwater can't hold off Hughson

December 7, 2022: Atwater, CA 95301

The Atwater Falcons basketball team (Atwater, CA), was nudged 58-54 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA)

The Huskies now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bret Harte for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Hughson will battle a Bullfrogs team coming off a 42-27 non-league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 5-2.

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Union (Manteca, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, East Union edged Tracy (Tracy, CA), 65-46, in a non-league battle.
