The Welsh Greyhounds basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting DeRidder Dragons to 19 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sulphur for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Welsh will meet a Golden Tors team coming off a 45-37 non-league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 6-3.
The Dragons (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Ville Platte triumphed over Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA), 31-30, in a non-league contest.
