Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA), 45-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Donegal upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians host Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA) to play the Crusaders in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 bout on Thursday, December 15. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans play the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 bout, on Friday, December 16. Garden Spot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
