The Nicholas County Grizzlies basketball team (Summersville, WV), was routed 72-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

The Minutemen now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a Big Ten battle on Wednesday, December 14. Lewis County will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 44-38 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-1.

The Grizzlies (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Renegades come into the Coalfield AA battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, WestSide trounced River View (Bradshaw, WV), 65-52, in a non-league battle.
