Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Los Amigos Lobos (Fountain Valley, CA), 57-38 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Western improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to play the Argonauts in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Argonauts come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Garden Grove lost 51-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA)

Next up, the Lobos play the Santa Ana Valley Falcons (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Los Amigos will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 53-7 non-league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA).
