Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting State College Little Lions (State College, PA), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Loyalsock Township upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lancaster Catholic won 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA)

Next up, the Little Lions play the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game, on Tuesday, December 13. State College will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
