Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN), 44-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Phoenix host Manassas (Memphis, TN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Manassas lost 66-8 in their recent non-league bout against Memphis East (Memphis, TN)

Coming up next, the meet the Memphis School of Excellence Eagles (Memphis, TN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 16. Memphis Rise Academy will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
