The Wheeling Park Patriots basketball team scored 55 points and held the host North Allegheny Tigers to 54 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hiland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Wheeling Park will meet a Hawks team coming off a 61-25 league win over Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Knights enter the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 4-0 record.
