Arizona High School Basketball - Walden Grove holds off Palo Verde

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) and the host Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ), saw Walden Grove's basketball squad hold off Palo Verde by a tally of 56-50.

With the victory, Walden Grove improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Red Wolves travel to Chinle (Chinle, AZ) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Chinle won 65-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley (Sanders, AZ)

Next up, the Titans confront the Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Palo Verde will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 53-23 league loss to Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ).
