South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 50-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Stallions travel to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Hayfield won 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD)

Next up, the Generals clash with the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Washington-Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA).
