California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon can't hold off Valhalla

The Valhalla Norsemen basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars to 56 in the Norsemen non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Norsemen now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweetwater for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Valhalla will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 66-40 non-league loss to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-3.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry edged Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 47-6, in a non-league contest.
