Texas High School Basketball - Alba-Golden can't hold off Big Sandy

The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Alba-Golden Panthers to 67 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Texas Homeschool Sports for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Big Sandy will battle a Chargers team coming off a 48-40 non-league win over Harmony (Big Sandy, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 5-1.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Overton (Overton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Overton nudged Cooper (Cooper, TX), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
