Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 76-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Amador Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Dons travel to Washington (Fremont, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Washington won 77-23 in their recent non-league bout against Gunderson (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Newark Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).
