Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA), 75-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highlands upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden Rams travel to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Shady Side Academy lost 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Erie (Erie, PA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Blackhawk will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Scotties come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Central Valley (Monaca, PA).
