Texas High School Basketball - Borden County tops Robert Lee

Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX), 52-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Borden County upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Sundown (Sundown, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Roughnecks come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Sundown lost 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)
Next up, the Steers play the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Robert Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 73-31 non-league win over Whiteface (Whiteface, TX).
