In Thursday's non-league outing, the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX), by a margin of 56-52.

The Brahmas (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Rivercrest was tipped by Chisum (Paris, TX), 67-39, in a non-league outing.
