The Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting El Paso Tigers to 52 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rouse for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Canyon will battle a Raiders team coming off a 71-52 non-league win over Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 9-4.

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Southwest was nudged by Rouse (Leander, TX), 71-52, in a non-league contest.
