Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Carroll Academy Jaguars (Huntingdon, TN), 62-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jackson Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Middle Tennessee Christian won 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Greenfield Yellowjackets (Greenfield, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Carroll Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 75-50 non-league win over Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN).
