The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Searcy Lions to 78 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 contest on Friday, December 8. Cedar Ridge will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 77-47 league win over South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 12-5.

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Batesville was outscored by Thayer (Thayer, MO), 54-30, in a non-league contest.
