The Saltillo Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles to 30 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisum for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Saltillo will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 67-39 non-league win over Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.

The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Home Educators (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Christian Home Educators triumphed over Greenville Christian (Greenville, TX), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
