The Cooper Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host North Side Steers to 44 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paschal for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Cooper will battle a Panthers team coming off a 43-42 non-league loss to Northwest (Justin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
The Steers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Carter-Riverside was defeated by South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 81-25, in a non-league contest.
