The King City Wildkats basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host DeKalb Tigers to 46 in the Wildkats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildkats now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worth County for a Grand River West match on Friday, December 8. King City will meet a Tigers team coming off a 65-25 non-league win over Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, DeKalb moves to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Stewartsville (Stewartsville, MO) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 2-1.
