Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) and the visiting Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), saw Greenup County's basketball squad hold off Fairview by a count of 75-71.

With the victory, Greenup County upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Musketeers host Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Tolsia won 63-62 in their recent league challenge against West Logan Christian Academy (Logan, WV)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
