Goodridge/Grygla Chargers (Goodridge, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), 92-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Goodridge/Grygla upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] (Climax, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 8 bout on Saturday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Bears play the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Monday, December 11. Lake of the Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 87-73 non-league win over Bigfork (Bigfork, MN).
