Texas High School Basketball - Marshall can't hold off Humble

The Humble Wildcats basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Marshall Mavericks to 77 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Neches-Groves for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Humble will battle a Indians team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.
The Mavericks (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Fightin' Indians enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville was nudged by Pollok Central (Pollok, TX), 48-28, in a non-league contest.
