Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Island (Lihue, HI) and the visiting McKinley Tigers (Honolulu, HI), saw Island's basketball squad wallop McKinley by a tally of 43-22.

With the victory, Island improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The travel to Waimea (Waimea, HI) to play the Menehunes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Menehunes come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Waimea won 52-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Kaiser (Honolulu, HI)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hawaii Baptist Academy Eagles (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. McKinley will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
