The Wake Prep Academy Guardians basketball team (Wake Forest, NC), was overwhelmed 78-38 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC)

The Saints now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. John Paul II Catholic will confront a Heat team coming off a 53-49 non-league win over New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC). The Heat record now stands at 2-4.

The Guardians (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Wakefield trounced Northern Durham (Durham, NC), 69-53, in a non-league battle.
