Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), 52-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewiston-Altura upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AA Section 1 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Plainview-Elgin-Millville lost 60-34 in their recent league bout against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN)

Next up, the Cobras play the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers (New Richland, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Friday, December 8. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
