Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds (Windsor, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lotus School For Excellence Meteors (Aurora, CO), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Windsor Charter Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Meeker (Meeker, CO) to clash with the Cowboys in a 3A Western Slope bout on Friday, December 8. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Meeker won 51-27 in their recent non-league bout against Hayden (Hayden, CO)

Next up, the Meteors clash with the Hayden Tigers (Hayden, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Lotus School For Excellence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 51-27 non-league loss to Meeker (Meeker, CO).
