Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), 62-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Snohomish (Snohomish, WA) to play the Panthers in a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Snohomish lost 71-44 in their recent league bout against Arlington (Arlington, WA)

Next up, the Royals play the Arlington Eagles (Arlington, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lynnwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 71-44 league win over Snohomish (Snohomish, WA).
