Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ), 68-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morenci upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Alchesay lost 55-52 in their recent non-league bout against Safford (Safford, AZ)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Mogollon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Apaches go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 55-36 non-league win over Valley (Sanders, AZ).
