North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Florida Educational Institute upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Fighting Eagles travel to Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Episcopal School of Jacksonville won 63-38 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Sharks play the Tocoi Creek Toros (St. Augustine, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Ponte Vedra will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Toros go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 75-62 non-league win over Beachside (St. Johns, FL).
