Mississippi High School Basketball - Piney Woods succumbs to Northeast Lauderdale

The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans topped the visiting Piney Woods Tornadoes basketball team by a final score of 66-50 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 8. Northeast Lauderdale will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 74-64 non-league loss to Newton County (Decatur, MS).

With the defeat, Piney Woods moves to 4-1 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 5-5. Enterprise won 46-41 in their recent non-league match against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS)
