Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pateros Billygoats/Nannies (Pateros, WA), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oroville upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Highland (Cowiche, WA) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Highland lost 59-51 in their recent non-league bout against Warden (Warden, WA)

Next up, the Billygoats/Nannies play the Soap Lake Eagles (Soap Lake, WA) in a 1B Central Washington bout, on Monday, December 11. Pateros will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 66-59 league loss to Riverside Christian (Yakima, WA).
