The Purcell Dragons basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Sulphur Bulldogs to 42 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madill for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Purcell will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 39-27 non-league win over Boswell (Boswell, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Boswell (Boswell, OK). The Scorpions come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Boswell was defeated by Madill (Madill, OK), 39-27, in a non-league contest.
