California High School Basketball - Rio Hondo Prep ripped by Thacher

The Thacher Toads basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Rio Hondo Prep Kares to 28 in the Toads non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Toads now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Clara for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Thacher will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Saints record now stands at 3-6.

The Kares (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Hueneme was routed by Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
