The Mora Mustangs basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Aitkin Gobblers to 34 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Falls for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Mora will battle a Flyers team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Flyers record now stands at 2-1.
The Gobblers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] was defeated by Braham (Braham, MN), 82-40, in a league contest.
