North Farmington Raiders (Farmington Hills, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI), 57-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Farmington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Red Hawks play the Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
