The Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting Central Rebels (Park Hills, MO), 53-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Grain Valley notched a victory over Fort Osage (Independence, MO), 53-32, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host North County for a Mineral Area - Large test on Monday, December 11. Central will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 63-39 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Festus, MO). The Raiders record now stands at 0-3.
