Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bayard Rustin over Methacton

December 7, 2023: West Chester, PA 19382

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) and the visiting Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA), saw Bayard Rustin's basketball squad overcome Methacton by a tally of 59-45.

With the victory, Bayard Rustin improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Upper Moreland lost 41-40 in their recent league challenge against William Tennent (Warminster, PA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Methacton will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 48-22 non-league win over Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA).
